DESCRIPTION: This week’s cigar salutes the famed character of Miguel de Cervantes’ 1605 novel, Don Quixote and shares the name of an old Cuban brand, originated in 1852. Introduced in 2002, the Sancho Panza Double Maduro offers a medium-to-full-bodied blend available in boxes of 20.
Crafted under the direction of Estelo Padrón, the great Honduran cigar master, Sancho Panza is a superbly constructed, square-pressed cigar.
The Sancho Panza Double Maduro gets its name from the fact that it has both a maduro wrapper and a maduro binder. Each Sancho Panza Double Maduro cigar is made with a hand-selected, dark Connecticut Shade binder. It’s then wrapped with an extra-dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, which is aged for four years prior to rolling.
