Episode 65: Cusano 18 Paired Maduro

DESCRIPTION: As one of the best maduro’s on the market, the Cusano 18 Paired Maduro offers rich flavor in a medium-bodied smoke.  Spawned from its highly rated counterpart: the original Cusano 18 Double Connecticut, the paired maduro uses 3 wrappers in its construction, which leads to a rich and balanced smoke that everyone can enjoy.

The success of the original Double Connecticut blend has paved the way for the Cusano 18 Paired Maduro.

Like the original, the paired maduro uses Dominican Oro in the filler. The Oro is an aged wrapper tobacco from the 1985 harvest. In addition, there are two exquisite maduro wrappers that are used to make the paired maduro one of the best dark cigars on the market.

The first wrapper is a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro, famous for being smooth and creamy. The second wrapper, placed in the filler along with the Dominican Oro, is a Brazilian Mata Fina that adds a little bit of spice to the palate.
