DESCRIPTION: Today the Doc will be featuring two cigars, instead of just one. This week’s featured cigars are both called the Dunhill Signed Range, but they are vastly different.

The Dunhill “signed range” line has had an interesting and sometimes confusing history. Part of the confusion is that there are two varieties of the Dunhill Signed Range. The first was the Dominican Signed Range cigars, which were initially released in England before their debut in the United States in 2003. These cigars were made in very limited quantities and will be increasingly harder to find, as their production has all but ceased and the stocks are dwindling.  The Dominican Signed Range has a medium-to-full-bodied blend of long-filler tobaccos from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, a U.S. Pennsylvania-grown binder, and an Ecuadorian wrapper leaf.

The second coming of the Signed Range is produced by Toraño Cigars in Nicaragua. These newer Signed Range cigars are a complete reblending of the original version. The Nicaraguan Signed Range is a 3-country multinational blend, wrapped in a Cameroon binder, and finished with a stunning light-brown shade leaf grown in Nicaragua.
