The Los Blancos Cigar Company was founded in the USA in 1998, and yet, the family’s history and roots in the tobacco industry can be traced back 5 generations to Cuba’s western-most province of Pinar del Rio.
The cigar I am featuring today is not from their Premiere Selection lines, but instead from the Primos Premium Bundles lines. Keeping with the Blancos family TRADITION these cigars provide VALUE and QUALITY in an economy that prizes both more than ever. The Primos Premium Bundles come in two varieties: the Habana Criollo Rosado and the Habano Criollo Maduro.
The Primos "Bundled" cigars are unique in the industry as they are the only bundles on the market made with a 3 year aged wrapper. The Habano Criollo Maduro wrapper, which is grown in Nicaragua, is purported to be one of the best in the world. A master blender with extraordinary skill is required to create a cigar using this wrapper as the wrapper can be overbearing if not blended with the proper binder and filler combination. Through the experience the Blancos are using a binder from Jalapa (Nicaragua) and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru.
