Tasting Notes
The Beast features a rare blend of tobacco, which includes an aged Costa Rican wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Honduran-Dominican-Columbian fillers. The dark wrapper leaf is a burly-looking maduro with medium veins and rough-hewn texture.

The nose on the wrapper leaf is robust with vintage chicken coop prevailing. I see no further use in speculation about the worth of this smoke and decide to trim and torch. Since I am smoking this outside and since there is a light breeze and since this cigar has a large foot....... I decide it best to go into the garage for the light. Lighting a cigar with this much heft is serious business and can’t be left to chance.

This cigar starts big right out of the gate. It is medium to full-bodied from the get go with wood and earth and barnyard dominating the scene. This is a hugely rich cigar but it is not overpowering or bitter. Of, course I’m only an inch into it...

I am very impressed with the burn of this Beast. The burn line is razor sharp and the cigar easily sports a two-inch ash, which I tap off in spite of myself.

By the second inch this cigar is displaying an intense tobacco sweetness. Rich and satisfying, the flavors striate my palate like so many fireflies dancing in a cool breeze.

The second half of this smoke is full of earth and espresso, in fact, it would probably pair nicely with a dark roasted coffee or espresso.

This cigar is as rich and filling as a country meal, which I might add, you should probably have prior to smoking. This is not a cigar for beginners, but is a lengthy and hardy meal for an experienced palate.

The Beast is a burly, barnyard brute, that only promises to get better.

Storage Conditions
For the last 3 1/2 months this cigar has been in my Daniel Marshall humidor at about 68-70% relative humidity and a fairly constant 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit. Since I purchased so few of these cigars to begin with, I have left them in their protective cedar wrap and with the cellophane outer wrapper.

This is the third, and final, review in this series. Alas, this is my last cigar from this batch. I have aged it for just over seven and a half months in my humi.
