La Flor Dominicana | Tasting Notes
This smoke has a wonderfully oily wrapper, The wrapper is referred to as a Natural Oscuro. Kind of a contradiction in terms if you ask me. Nevertheless, its a good looking wrapper. The cigar was firm and it lit well and burned well throughout the entire cigar. I was able to get a 1-inch ash without any problem. There were no inconsistencies in the burn.
The first third of the cigar tasted tarry, like burnt coffee. About a third of the way into the cigar the flavors become beefy and lip-smacking good. Its a medium to full-bodied cigar and a flavorful one at that. But I wouldnt call it complex. Yet. This is a very nice little cigar that I think will improve over time. ~Doc Storage Conditions
These have spent their entire time in my cabinet humidor (an Aristocrat by Staebell & Associates). Humidty has been a constant 67 percent.
